About the tour

From Plaza Tendillas, meeting place for all and the heart of this beautiful city, I will briefly explain, I will introduce myself to all of you and then we will follow the fantastic tour, to the Jewish Quarter, where we will walk around and know the typical character of this neighborhood, we will make several During the journey, you will be able to enter the Synagogue, of great importance throughout Andalusia, since it is unique as a legacy of the Jews. Built in the Mudejar style, it is the only synagogue in Andalusia and one of the only three that are preserved in Andalusia. Spain of that time, next to the Synagogue of the Transit and the one of Santa Maria the White, both in the city of Toledo. On January 24, 1885 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Monument and forms part of the historical center of Córdoba, which was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1994. Once we have contemplated this beauty, we will walk through the Mosque and reach the Puerta del Triunfo or Puerta del Puen you have the particularity that.

The Puerta del Puente is one of the only three doors that remain in the city of Córdoba (Spain), next to the Puerta de Almodóvar and the Puerta de Sevilla. The current gate is located in an enclave where the Roman and Muslim doors were once located: Bab al-Qantara, Bab al-Wadi, Bab al-Yazira or Bab al-Surah. In Roman times it linked the city with the Roman bridge and the Via Augusta. We continue the walk by the Roman Bridge. The Roman bridge of Cordoba is located on the Guadalquivir River as it passes through Córdoba, and connects the Campo de la Verdad district with the Cathedral District. Also known as "the Old Bridge" was the only bridge that the city had for 20 centuries, until the construction of the San Rafael bridge, in the middle of the 20th century. When crossing the bridge, in the middle of it, we will take photos and a short break of 5 minutes and then we will arrive at the famous Calahorra Tower. From there, a short walk along the Ribera where we will conclude the visit. In the river area there are many typical bars to eat, tapas or sit alone for a few beers.
