Free Lima & Barranco tour with pisco sour class

ITINERARY: We will go first to Barranco, a traditional neighborhood located near the Miraflores district. In this place we will appreciate the beautiful French-style houses, we will also know about the famous "Bridge of Sighs", the hermitage and the square of the district. Then we will take the Metropolitan public transport at Boulevar station, in order to reach the Center of Lima. Once at the destination point (Jiron de la Unión station located 3 blocks from the Center of Lima), we will walk towards the Main Square, where our guide will begin to tell the Historical background of the Old City of the Kings. Around the Main Square we will see the Cathedral of Lima, the church of the Tabernacle, impressive balconies of the eighteenth century, the Government Palace (Presidential House) and the Municipal Palace. Then we will visit the monument to the last Curaca of Lima (Taulichusco) and the altar of 3 Peruvian saints such as San Martín de Porres, Santa Rosa de Lima and San Juan Macías that is located within the convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue the tour visiting the stone bridge, the Rimac River and later the convent of San Francisco with its catacombs. We will end our tour by visiting La Casa del Pisco, where we will have our pisco sour classes (Peruvian flag drink).
