Hi, I'm Carolina, but my friends call me Carol! And good for sure we're going to be friends so you can also tell me Carol hehe, actually I like it more! :) I was born and raised in Burgos, I have traveled a lot and I like to teach my city :) I studied art history and I think that with these visits I return a little of what they taught me and what I learned to people from all over the world. When I have lived outside they have always helped me and explained everything necessary.

Tour description

NOTE: Unfortunately I'm not able to do the tour right now, sorry!!

This tour will surprise you for the completeness of it. I love Burgos and when I decided to create this guided tour it was so that all the people could know everything that this wonderful city offers.

1. Castillo de Burgos: We will start the tour in the viewpoint of the castle where we can see a panoramic view of the incredible city and where I will tell you the whole story of this wonderful building.

2. Arco de Santa María: We will see one of the most emblematic monuments of the city, a beautiful door in reality. One of the 12 that gave access to the city in the Middle Ages. I will also inform you about the Pharmacy Museum that is located here and has many curiosities.

3. Church of San Nicolás de Bari: Essential visit to this emblematic building built in 1408.

4. Stroll along the Espolón promenade, well known by the inhabitants of the city.

5. Plaza de la Libertad: Formerly known as Plaza del Mercado Mayor, it was where merchants came to sell their products. The most famous of the square is the Casa del Cordón or also called Palace of the Constables of Castile, a beautiful palace of the fifteenth century with an impressive door where you can see two Franciscan cords carved on its stone wall.

6. We will also visit the Paseo de la Isla since it is not usually visited but I love it. It is a little further away but it has an incredible variety of plants and it is very romantic if you come with your partner :)

7. I will recommend incredible places to go for pinchos by Burgos and others that I know that you will love.

This free tour of GuruWalk is sure to impress you :)
