I am Omar, a university student in international relations and together with some friends we have proposed that you get to know the unknown side of our country. We are young people, passionate, open to everyone so that not only you can learn in the tours, but also we will learn from you. If there is one thing we like about this group of friends is travelling, and we want to make you enjoy your visit to Madrid as much as we can. We are university students, our age is around 20 years old so we want this experience to have a young and open touch for everyone. We are studying different degrees, and we are from different parts of the country, although we know Madrid perfectly and it is this mixture that makes us such a diverse group. We are not official guides and we don't want to look like it because we love their work, we are just young students willing to live another experience in Spain. Come and join us to enjoy a different, young and exciting Spain..
A group of university students invites you to discover our country from a totally new perspective. To do this, we created a tour in which you can get to know the most unknown Spain, its customs, tradition, languages, diversity and the movements that have transformed us since the arrival of democracy in 1975. These students intend to teach that Spain hidden and for that they have chosen their capital, Madrid, the meeting point of this diversity. We will visit the most important streets and places in Madrid learning from these movements and transformations. The meeting place will be the underground door of Chueca. The starting point has a lot of symbolism because the struggle of the LGTBI collective has taken place there, one of the most important gay neighborhoods in Europe. The tour will continue explaining this recent history through places such as Malasaña, Gran Vía, Calle Preciados, Sol, Cibeles, Nptuno and we will end in the Spanish parliament where we will explain the democratic process of this country. Our guides are students (not official guides, since it is a totally different job) who want to help you 100% to get to know the most local Spain. This tour is open to all who visit us. To make this possible, this group of young people has decided that if requested, we are willing to take a tour for people with any type of physical disability: people with visual impairment or difficulty walking. We will help and give 100% of us. so that everyone can enjoy the experience. See you every Saturday for this experience accompanied by our students, to get to know Spain in a local, fun, joyful way and most importantly open to everyone.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
