Gori Free Walking Tour - Beyond the Known
I am Zhana, I am 26 years old and I am from Georgia. I am interested in social entrepreneurship and I love meeting travelers, so I combined these two things and founded Gori Walking Tour to create a social impact in my community and in the meantime offer a complete experience to travelers. My work makes me happy as it is really rewarding. I have traveled to several EU countries and now I want to bring part of Europe to my small hometown, known as the birthplace of the Soviet dictator Stalin. My goal is to run a successful tourism company and promote my country, but most importantly my hometown. I am very passionate about following my dream.
Tour description
Gori is mainly known for being the birthplace of the Soviet Dictator Stalin, but besides this fact, Gori has much more to offer with sites full of history which date back to the medieval times!
My goal is to introduce Gori from an alternative perspective and to show you other historical sights that Gori has beyond the Stalin Museum. During our tour we will visit the Ethnographic Museum, the City Centre, the War Wall, the Synagogue, the Fortress, the Cathedral and the local Bazaar.
My motto is: Whether you call your self a traveler or a tourist, I would like to offer you an insightful experience to discover Gori through local's eyes.
