Im Patricia, the leader of "Knocking on Cuba", a team of young professors of economics at University. We joined this project about experiential tourism and rental management. Teaching and debating about Cuban economy and society has been our eternal passion. We have organized a set of experiences to provide visitors with the most objective and deeper understanding of the Cuban phenomenon. Come to "Knocking on Cuba" and get a full-time learning trip. Become our student!
Strolling under the Cuban sun, we'll travel a typical Havana resident’s daily journey. We’ll explore the city in a way that´s anything but mundane. We will live through four hours of intense and animated talk about Cuban economy, society, politics and culture, in addition to any other topic you might be interested in, while we enter inside a universe that is beyond the reach of ordinary tourists.
In just a few hours, you'll experience firsthand the successes and setbacks that are unique to our island, gaining an understanding of how we Cubans dance to our own beat. We will ride a common Cuban bus, visit shops and markets, and pay a visit to a typical ice cream parlor. By the end of the day you'll have a clearer conception of the economical and social conditions of daily life in Havana.
