Hi, my name is Bruno. I am 28 years old, I am an architect and a runner. I have been running my whole life, but specially running outdoors, is one of my favorite things in the world. One year ago I moved to this beautiful city (Rome) and since then I have been running through it's amazing streets, parks and mountains every single day. I moved here to study a masters in Restoration of Heritage Buildings and together with my passion for running marathons, I came up with amazing running routes that combine beautiful outdoor settings, amazing architecture, incredible views and the most important sightseeing spots in the city. I have more than seven years of experience on running and training for marathons. I have chosen very specific routes that don't demand excessive effort and allow me to share my passion of history and architecture with you.

About the tour

This is the best way to see the capital of Italy without tourists. Running early in the morning will make you experience the sites in a whole different way and enjoy empty streets, fresh air, no heat and beautiful sunrises.

You can choose between 2 different routes and the duration of the workout depends on what you want to see and your endurance.

A complete run consists of 10km, always divided into two sections of 5km with a break in between. For those of you who want to run less, at the end of the first 5km you will be able to leave the tour and feel satisfied, because you will already have seen the most important spots on the route. For those who want to continue and finish the 10km, it will be definitely worth it because the second part of the route will take you to special and unconventional spots with incredible views to celebrate your extra effort.

Route 1 will take part on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

We will meet at 7:00am at Piazza del Popolo and start running at 7:10am. We will finish in the Villa Borghese gardens at around 8:30am

We will see: Piazza del Popolo, Lungotevere, Castel Sant'angelo, San Pedro in Vaticano, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Villa Medici, Terrazza del Pincio and Villa Borghese Gardens

Route 2 will take part on Tuesdays and Thursdays

We will meet at 7:00am at Piazza della Repubblica and start running at 7:10am. We will finish at the Colosseo at around 8:30am

We will see: Piazza della Repubblica, Sta. María Maggiore, Monti, Scalinata dei Brogia, Fori Imperiali, Monumento Nazionale, Piazza del Campidoglio, Ghetto, Trastevere, Isola Tiverina, Teatro Marcello, Circo Massimo, Giardino degli Aranci, Coliseo.

What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this run and tour. Especially Bruno. He is highly energetic and made waking up in the morning totally worth it.

I was in Rome for a week and did multiple walking tours and yet, Bruno being an architect, completely changed my perspective and knowledge of the beautiful buildings we passed.

And hey, who doesn't enjoy a good run? One of the best experiences I've had in my European tour! Many thanks Bruno.
