Hello! My name is Guadalupe but you can call me Wuppy, my friend Ulises and I make up the OaxHappening team. We are both from Oaxaca and we are glad that you have chosen to visit our beautiful state. We are former college students and we hope to have an intercultural exchange, to learn as much from you and that you can learn from us too. We hope to make international friends and long lasting memories!
Are you ready for one of the most important celebrations in Mexico? We, OaxHappening, want to share with you the smells, colors and traditions which are lived here in Oaxaca.
Jalatlaco is one of the most important and oldest neighborhoods in Oaxaca. Here we will admire incredible murals and alleys which are ready for the day of the dead, as well as the stone church of San Matías Jalatlaco, which dates back to the 18th century.
Our adventure will begin in Labastida Park, we will get to know one of the most important churches in the center and we will pass to Llano Park until we reach Jalatlaco. We will also show you very "instagrammable" sites where we will be more than happy to take you pics. Remember to use sunscreen, good walking shoes and water.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
