I am a very friendly person. I have worked with tourists for more than 20 years and I speak spanish and english very well. I love Tenerife Island. I have worked in the south of Tenerife as a receptionist and a commercial agent. I like to work to be happy. I have always liked to travel and get to know other cultures, interact with different types of people, learn from where I am going and assimilate those little things that other places that are not yours give you. Although I am from Peru, I have been living in this Island for 30 years and the truth is that I feel comfortable living here.
Walk through the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the only Canarian city which has the privilege of being one of the 15 Spanish cities declared as World Heritage, and discover the charm of its colonial streets.
We will begin our guided tour of La Laguna at Plaza del Adelantado, and at this point we will begin to immerse ourselves in the history of the town.
During the tour we will go through the most emblematic points of the old town, where the colonial style is appreciated. We will go up Obispo Rey Redondo Street, one of the main streets of the city, to the cathedral of La Laguna. We will visit its interior to admire the artistic jewels that is has, especially highlighting the neogothic altarpiece dedicated to Virgen del Carmen.
We will continue our route discovering other important monuments, such as the Loyal Theater, and the Tuscan-style bell tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Conception. The tower, dating from the seventeenth century, reaches 27 meters high.
Our next stop will take place in front of the baroque facade of Casa Salazar, an old palace with great stories to know. We will end the tour in Plaza del Cristo, where the Municipal Market of La Laguna is located, and which stalls offer a varied sample of crafts and gastronomy from Tenerife.
