Cristina is a person who considers herself above all enthusiastic, vital, empathic and lover of her work. I have a lot of experience working with tourism from all over Europe, especially from the United Kingdom, a country that I know quite well, since I have lived, studied and worked in it. I have also lived in Paris for work as a mail guide and in Brussels. I have a lot of sense of humor and the smile is a must in my personality a little bit crazy you know. Since the guides are made of a special pasta hehehe. As an authentic Valencian, I am a fan of Fallas, as well as my family. I know every corner of my city, and accustomed to walking, I would love to involve the group, from a somewhat less visited area: THE BIOPARK I have studied tourism and translation and have worked in the tourism sector for a long time leading groups of British, French and Germans. I love the interaction with other cultures and above all, to be a mediator among the people who come to know our country, culture, traditions and landscapes. It is wonderful to get that after the tour, the group returns happily to their place of origin, with a positive conception about the place they have visited. And there it is we, the guides, who have that great responsibility and duty to transmit all the best.
Welcome to Valencia! I invite you to travel to the most fascinating past of my city.
Together we will discover what ancient Valencia was like from its most recent past to its origins: 2,000 years ago.
We will start our tour in the beautiful Modernist-style North Station. From there we will be wandering inside the old medieval wall, where many surprises and unexpected secrets await you, such as:
We will go up Serranos street and we will enter fully into the medieval neighborhood par excellence of our city: El Carmen. We will get lost in this fascinating neighborhood and its narrow and labyrinthine streets.
We will contemplate hidden treasures such as:
We will end our trip leaving the medieval world, through the west gate of the wall: the Puerta de Quart or Torres de Quart.
I will explain the history, legends and curiosities of each place.
We will meet at the Estación del Norte. Outside, under its clock tower. I will be wearing a green cap in my hand and I am red-haired. Reservations less than 2 hours in advance are not accepted.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
