Tour description

Explore the different parts of Nairobi city centre. In the company of a local, visit the most important monuments and the center of the city. The tour will begin in the Central Business District, where you can see the Kenya National Archives, KenCom bus station, Hilton Hotel, Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC), where most international fairs and conventions take place. You will also get a chance to see the parliament and other government offices. Proceed to the National Museum where the early man tribal regalia are displayed, along with the flora and fauna of Kenya. Visit the Snake Park afterwards. On your way back, visit the colorful city market where a wide variety of African curios, tropical fruits and flowers among other things are on sale. Please note: - Some attractions in the intinerary have entrance fees. These include: The Kenya National Archives, the KICC, the Nairobi National Museum and the Snake Park. - Some attractions such as the government buildings to not allow photography so please be cautious. - Also, please carry water and some snacks to munch during the tour.

    The meeting point is at the City Walk Shoe Shop in the city center, opposite the Kencom Bus Station. It is on the junction of Simba street and City Hall Way. The guide will have a Heels and Valise Tours name tag and further information sent to your inbox.

Nairobi is beautiful and has a lot to offer if you have the right guide. Unfortunately we did not and had to abort the tour.
