Neno and Friends Sarajevo Free Walking Tours was first Free tour in Sarajevo created 2010 by three locals to share their unique visions and experiences of this amazing city with people from around the world. We are: Neno I'm 38 years old, born and raised in Sarajevo and founder of Neno & Friends Free Sarajevo Walking Tours. I have a degree in political sciences, so history and politics are my passion. As a young boy, I also experienced the siege of the city so I decided to share my stories and to tell my guests more about the recent war. But I will show you more than that. For me the history of my country is more than just the recent war. See you. Merima Im 38 years old. I have degree in fine arts so Im very interested in culture and history. Im happy to share my experiences and the stories from Sarajevo, old and recent war history. I cant wait to meet you. Davor Im 41 years old. I was born and raised in Sarajevo. I have degree in theology and Im very interested in religion, traditional customs, culture and history. I also experienced city siege so I also want to share my memories. In 2 hours tour we cover Sarajevo's 500-year-old history from the Ottoman Empire, to Austro Hungarian times, continuing to the period of Yugoslavia, then the 92 -95 war to present times. If you want to see some must-see sights in the city center like Latin bridge and to hear the WWI assassination story but also some off the beaten path she sights like the ugliest building in the city, brewery,then this tour is for you. We cover many iconic landmarks on this tour and the ITINERARY will include: - Serbian orthodox cathedral - Ashkenazi synagogue - Latin bridge and WWI - Morica han ( old ottoman hotel) - City hall - Spite house and more. We are looking forward to showing you around our beautiful city and taking you off the beaten path to see a local's perspective and get the most out of your trip to Sarajevo.
