We are Neno & Merima and we want to share stories of our amazing city and country. In our tours we will show you all the must see sights but also some of the beaten path sights. In each of our tour we also infuse our personal stories ans experiences. More about us :) Neno I'm 38 years old, born and raised in Sarajevo. I have a degree in political sciences, so history and politics are my passion. As a young boy, I also experienced the siege of the city so I decided to share my stories and to tell my guests more about the recent war. But I will show you more than that. For me the history of my country and city is more than just the recent war. In free time I also like to travel and so far I visited 40+ countries. Merima Im 38 years old. I have degree in fine arts. Im very interested in culture and history. In free time passionate painter. Im happy to share my experiences and the stories from Sarajevo, old and recent ones. I cant wait to meet you.
In 2 hours small group tour we cover Sarajevo's 500-year-old history from the Ottoman Empire, to Austro Hungarian times, continuing to the period of Yugoslavia, then the 92 -95 war to present times. If you want to see some must-see sights in the city center like Latin bridge and to hear the WWI assassination story but also some off the beaten path sights like the ugliest building in the city, then this tour is for you. We will talk about the life in the past but also about life today in Sarajevo. We cover many iconic landmarks on this tour and the ITINERARY will include:
- Serbian orthodox cathedral
- Ashkenazi synagogue
- Latin bridge and WWI Franz Ferdinand assassination
- Bascarsija ( Old market from Ottoman times)

National theater square also known as Pozorisni trg - Susan Sontag. Guide will be at square side of the National theatre (Narodno pozoriste). DONT WAIT at the river side! Guide will hold A4 size blue foot print logo. If its busy on the square ( some event, manifestation etc) guide will wait on the sidewalk next to square where pharmacy is ( Apoteka)!
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
