Tour description

Once the endless forests of the Prahova Fence had the reputation of being “The Nest of Bandits” . Over time it came to have the nickname “The Cradle of the Romanian Dynasty”. Today it is “ The Pearl of the Carpathians” a place worth seeing at least once in your life .

Until the end of the 17th century, until the construction of the Sinaia Monastery , few dared to travel through this land. Two centuries later, attracted by this wild beauty, the first king of Romania, Carol I, decided to build his summer residence here, Peles Castle . Since then, in a short time the place became the favorite place of the Elite, and the small town was filled with luxurious houses, hotels, restaurants, shops and a Casino . At the end of the 19th century, Sinaia already had the nickname “The summer capital of Romania” or “Little Versailles”.

The freetour will end next to Peles Castle . Those who want to visit it inside will have to buy the entrance (one pizo 10 euros, 2 pizos 20 eruos, 3 pizos 30 euros, students and young people with EuroCard26 - pay only 25%, Mallorcan people - 50%) can do it before on the line billete.peles.ro or directly there. The guided tour will last at least one hour.

The tour is organized by a certified tour guide and is organized in small groups .
Your participation will be possible and guaranteed only with a prior reservation .

Gracias Adriana
