This is not your classic history tour.
Through the Rooftops is about discovering the hidden side of Tbilisi—small passages, secret shortcuts, old courtyards, and places that most visitors never see. It’s about the atmosphere of the city, the spaces between the main streets, and the stories that aren’t written in guidebooks.
We’ll climb old staircases (some of them quite worn out), walk through dark hallways, and reach rooftops with amazing views. Along the way, you’ll hear local stories, interesting facts, and see parts of the city that are usually missed.
One of the highlights is visiting the rooftop of one of the oldest houses in the city, with one of the most unique views over Tbilisi. To access the rooftop, there is a 15 GEL fee (about €5) per person, paid by buying a glass of local wine. This is a way to support a local business and show respect for the place that gives us access to this special viewpoint.
⚠️ Please note: This experience includes dark areas, steep and sometimes damaged stairs, and narrow spaces. It is not always comfortable, but it is authentic. Wear good shoes, bring your curiosity, and be ready for a real urban adventure.
