Best of Zagreb and a small company- Netragom (Without a trace). are part of a tour guide project I created in 2012 in order to promote Zagreb as the new European travel destination. Its history, people, culture, art, and heritage are all the focus of my endeavors. I have been a professional tour guide since 2008, and a freelancer since 2012. I enjoy researching culture, history and art. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide by Interpret Europe, and heritage interpretation is my passion, another passion of mine is to find the proper way for intercultural communication to be able to interpret our culture for all travelers of different cultural backgrounds.

About the tour

Discover the best of Zagreb with us on this special walking tour of the Croatian Capital. We will visit some of Zagreb's most iconic landmarks and features while also getting to check out some off-the-beaten-path secrets that this city is known for and that many tourists don't get the chance to find. The tour is a circular route that has been specially planned to share Zagreb's unique culture and fascinating history. The photos are also an image of the topics that we will talk about during the walk.

The itinerary for this tour includes:

1- Zrinski Square - the development of modern Zagreb late 19th C

2. The main square of Ban Jelacic - the meeting point of two

medieval communities since the 16th century

3- Kaptol and the Cathedral - exterior only, without entering the cathedral

4 - the Farmer's market Dolac

5 -Tkalčićeva St. - in the old days, it divided Zagreb in two

communities, now it unites everyone with all its cafés, bars, restaurants

6- the Upper Town -with 6a The Stone Gate, 6b The St Mark's Square (The

Parliament, the Government and the church itself, the church from the

13th century), the 6c The Lotrscak Tower with the iconic canon

7-ending at the Ban Jelacic Square again.

How to find me: Find me at Zrinjevac Square, in front of the Music Pavilion, official name Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square. I usually have my blue umbrella with me with Saint Mark's Church on it. I also wear my BestofZagreb logo by my license.
