Good! I'm Marta, a professional in the guided tours sector. I was born in Barcelona but I've always been in love with the city of Girona, so I came to study and live here. My passion for history since I was little led me to become what I am today, historian and cultural guide. I love being able to explain the things I know or have studied, and since I have lived here for years, I can offer a 100% "Gironina" experience, through its history, its people, its culture and its gastronomy.
Tour led by an accredited Catalan official Tourism guide. Discover the best of the old town of Girona! Stone and history will transport us to the early Middle Ages, where we will discover the spectacular Sant Feliu Basilica and walk along the archaeological walk to reach one of the most important medieval monasteries in the city, the Sant Pere de Galligants Monastery, which it is also the Archaeological Museum of Girona. Later, we will head to the steps of the cathedral, the largest single nave in Europe, and end our incredible journey in the Jewish quarter, one of the largest in Europe in medieval times. * Entrance to the Archaeological Museum not included.
