Greetings from Uzbekistan! My name is Aziz K. I live in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and work as a professional, licensed tour guide across the country. I have always been interested in the history, architectural monuments, wild nature and varied cultures of my vast an diverse country. This has led me on a lifelong journey of exploration that I am eager to share with you. My customized excursions acquaint visitors with the renowned sights along the old Silk Road, as well as with more unique travel routes. I conduct tours in English and Russian across all of Uzbekistan. If you wish, I can supply my own transport (sedan and van), which saves the expense of hiring a driver and car. With more than 20 year of experience in the tour business, I can tackle any and all logistics connected with organizing your travels in Uzbekistan.
We will spend all day sightseeing across Tashkent. If your time is limited, the sightseeing can be reduced to cover the highlights of the city. We can combine drive on my van and walking. I will show you: The Memorial for the Victims of Repression. Tashkent TV tower (distance view). Central Asian Plov Center. Minor Mosque (White Mosque). Monument of Courage. Old City and the Khast-Imam architectural complex: Kaffal-as-Shoshi Mausoleum, Barak-Khan Madrasah, Khast-Imam Mosque. Mui-Muborak Madrasah – the original Koran of the Caliph Usman. (Walk on resedential blocks of the old town). Chorsu's market (most picturesque market in the city). Mustakillik Square (Independence Square). Palace of the Grand duke Romanov. Theater of Alisher Navoiy (external view). Amir Temur's square. Tashkent Metro (Underground/Subway).
I will hold a sign "Aziz".
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
