HELLO: D I'm Lucia and I'm 21 years old. I am a simple, cheerful, and fun person. I like art, history, culture, and contact with nature. I consider myself an ambitious and constant girl, always trying to do my best to achieve my goals. I've always dreamed of being a tour guide and today I hope to be able to make my dream come true thanks to Guruwalk! Having all my relatives in the north, I have always tried to act as a tourist guide to get them passionate about my city and the beauties it offers, and luckily I had an excellent result! However, this would be my first real serious experience as a tour guide, I admit it without shame, there is always a first time! I hope for your confidence in considering myself honest and potentially skilled in these first experiences of mine, through the description of my person ... I attended high school and I studied English, Spanish and French well. I have just graduated in Tourism Sciences, with a specialization in the management and enhancement of the tourist heritage. I attended the faculty of Salerno which allowed me to live a year in Paris and to attend the university of Paris Nanterre for free and to be able to obtain my bination degree there, with a double qualification in Italian and French. I was born and raised in Caserta and I know the Royal Palace like my pockets! It has always been my place of "refuge", leisure, relaxation and imagination for my future work. I love my city and I want to stay there in order to make improvements in tourism and enhancement of the heritage that the city offers, thanks to my beloved Royal Palace. I hope this platform will help me grow as a tourist guide, even for free: I am not aiming at any monetary gain, but only an enrichment of my background of maturity and experience.
About the tour
A tour to be discovered! Also suitable for children, get ready for a day full of history and culture, but also of fun and relaxation, to fully enjoy Caserta's oldest and most important architectural work and make the most of the green spaces of the parks. Provide yourself with a rich packed breakfast that you can enjoy on a lunch break on the vast lawns of the gardens or at the famous "big fish pond", ideal for a moment of full relaxation and entertainment for children. A splendid walk will await you to get to know and get passionate about the reality of the ancient Bourbon family. We will reach the Royal Palace through "La Flora", the garden outside the Royal Palace, introducing its history and observing the facades of the Royal Palace externally, through a short walk, and then arriving in front of the imposing and majestic Royal Palace. From there we will enter, through the majestic royal staircase, into the rooms of the Bourbon Residence where you will discover many secrets and behind the scenes of the splendid nineteenth-century reality. Optionally, we will also be able to visit temporary and / or permanent art exhibitions (modern, contemporary, etc.) and then continue towards the gardens. I will advise you to take advantage of the shuttle service (at a cost of € 1) to get to the top of the Fountain of Diana and Actaeon, allowing us to take magnificent "postcard" photos with the most breathtaking view of the city. We will then visit the famous English Gardens, with stories and anecdotes to be discovered. Finally, we will decide together whether to use the shuttle service again to return to the exit of the Royal Palace or walk downhill along all the fountains and discover their meaning and their history individually, through a light relaxing and excellent walk (this time downhill!) take beautiful panorama photos, from different points of view. I have always recommended to visit the Royal Palace of Caserta in a single day, from morning to 9:30 in the afternoon, with various breaks, including the lunch break, and in an extremely relaxing way, but it is also possible to divide the tour into two different days . You can contact me without hesitation for any particular request, I will be happy to satisfy you! I remember that the price of the entrance tickets varies according to what you want to visit.
