We are a group of freelance tour guides who decided to work toghether to support authentic and local Venice, the city we live in and that we truly love. We are not part of a big multinational company but we are all licensed tour guides who support local traditions, local business and culture. Most of all, we proudly encourage sustainable tourism, which is the concept of visiting a city and trying to have a positive impact on its environment, its society and its economy. We truly believe that this is the most important thing, especially in a city like Venice!

Tour description
Contemporary arts, cursed buildings, stunning views, quiet neighborghoods, giant domes, mysterious statues, the history of the 1630 plague...this is all you will discover on our UNEXPECTED VENICE TOUR.
We will tell you fun facts and legends about some of the most extravagant people who inhabited Venice, like the famous Peggy Guggenheim, the great patron of contemporary art.
There will be some mysterious atmosphere while we walk in front of Ca’ Dario and you will find out why :)
During the tour you will also have the chance to visit the astonishing Basilica della Salute and you will also have the chance to take memorable photos in the most panoramic spots of Venice!
We will also give you some valuable tips about how to organize your stay in Venice and how to avoid the most common tourist traps. We want you to enjoy VENICE LIKE A LOCAL, not like a tourist. That's the reason why at the end we will give you a lot of useful informationS about public transport, gondola rides and our restaurant recommendations.
THE TOUR IS IN ENGLISH AND TAKES PLACE EVERY DAY
Group reservations for more than 6 people are not accepted even when made with multiple bookings and you will not be able to join the tour.

LOVED, it was so informational, this was our 4th day in Venice and he pointed out placed we still hadn’t found and we learnt a lot, from Italian vocabulary, where to find good food, and history of the city. Would recommend to anyone

The tour was great, with unusual history you won’t find in standard guidebooks. Frederico was very knowledgable & had great recommendations for where to eat in the area afterwards as well.
