About the tour

The city of Guanare (Venezuela-Portuguesa) is rich in history expressed in its old town which is preserved in excellent condition from its foundation to the present day, it is full of anecdotes, culture and legends, it is for this reason that the eco-tour historical, allows to recognize the value of its natural environment and that built by man. Second place of four Historical Patrimonies of the nation that exist in Guanare. -Casacoima, an old "high" house, where the "Tobacconist" belonging to the Guipuzcoana Company, belonging to the Welser family, who had the royal identity card for the exploitation of the vast territory, operated in the colonial period. It was the first "Tax Collection House" in Venezuela in a place not associated with seaports. Guanare did have a port, but it was a river type. -Plaza Bolívar and Guanare Cathedral.
