Arkeo Tour was born from an idea of a group of youngs from Andalusia and Madrid who loved its History, culture and heritage. Our team is made up of great professionals with extensive experience in managing of tourist groups and cultural visits in different parts of Spain. Most of us have trained on the street, collaborating in different archaeological sites, art galleries and museums. We consider that our land has great heritage and cultural potential that must be valued for both residents and tourists. We do not believe that transmitting our history is bored. We want you to enjoy it. May you live the experience. And that you impregnate yourself with the vestiges of our past. Join this adventure with us!

About the Tour

Guadalajara, the capital of the Mendoza. Guadalajara has always been a meeting place for very different cultures. Its strategic position in the center of the peninsula, next to the fertile banks of the Henares and protected by steep ravines, made it inhabited since prehistoric times. However, it would be in Arab times when this city adopted its current name and began to take the form with which we know it today. Already during the Renaissance the noble Mendoza family would be in charge of taking it to its maximum splendor, erecting building jewels such as the Palacio del Infantado. In our day, Guadalajara is a young, accessible city full of plans and activities. Those visitors who wish to do so can visit with our guides the remains of the Alcázar, the Cathedral of Santa María, the Church of Santiago, the Torreón del Alvar Fáñez or the Pantheon of the Condesa de la Vega del Pozo. Great treasures of a little known city. * Note: During the tour, you can visit both the Palacio de la Cotilla to see the Chinese room whose price is € 1 and the pantheon of the Mendoza family that is in the Church of San Francisco and which also costs € 1. Access to both buildings will be done independently and voluntarily.
