Hello my name is Fran! I came to Barcelona as a tourist, I fell in love with their streets and I've never left. I was born in Argentina, so I keep the Latin spark, but I lived my first years inside the Gothic Quarter, so I know the city as if it were my own home.
El Born is a neighborhood that despite massive tourism, still maintains its aesthetics and history on the streets. The idea of this tour is to try to understand the social gap between the upper and lower classes of Barcelona. From a theater in the middle of a humble neighborhood, designed for the high Catalan lineage, to half a neighborhood destroyed by the order of the crown. POINTS WE WILL SEE - Via Laietana - Palau de la Música (rear facade) - Palau de la Música (front façade) - Passage of manufactures - Passage of the Sert - Plaza de Sant Pere - Arch of Triumph - Paseo de Sant Agustí Vell - Monastery of Sant Agustí Vell - Jardins del Forat de la Vergonya - Cultural Center of Memory (Archaeological) - Paseo del Born - Fossar de les Moreres - Santa María del Mar Church It is a neighborhood that suffered a lot, but it still stands and continues to survive.
I carry a blue umbrella
