Hello! I'm Fabio and I'm a professional tourist guide. In Mexico City I live, study and above all I eat!
Where was the exact point of the "meeting of the two cultures"? What did Moctezuma think when he saw the Spanish Conquerors? How did they live in the "Great Tenochtitlán"? Why is it wrong to say "Aztecs"? Yes, the "tacos al pastor" are very good but ... where can I eat "enchiladas, enfrijoladas, pozole, huaraches" ... or have a good mezcal? And the prehispanic food? What does Mexico City have to do with Paris, Florence, Bologna and ... Miguel Angél? If you want to know the answers to these questions and many more, join me on this fun trip to the historical city centre of Mexico City, you will discover it through the eyes of a Certified Tourist Guide of Mexico City! The meeting point will be the main entrance of the Metropolitan Cathedral, from there we will visit: - First Hospital of America - Tomb of Cortés - Zócalo Capitalino - Metropolitan Cathedral - Templo Mayor - Santo Domingo Square - Calzada de Tacuba - El Caballito and Palacio de Correos - Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Central - Market of "San Juan" We will end with: -Tips of easily accessible places outside the historical city centre (Definitely Mexico City is not only historical centre!) -Tips and more tips on where to eat and have good time. See you soon!
