Hey everyone, I would like to welcome you to The City of Brotherly love. Where there are endless adventures and possibilities. My name is Breyon (pronounced Bre-Yawn) and I'm a graduate student at Rutgers University. Currently, I'm studying Communications. I am very fun, energetic, and love making people smile. I'd love to have the opportunity to take you to a few cool places in the city. From historical landmarks and architectures to diverse foods and famous cheesesteaks this city has offers a lot. So join me on this tour and let's see what the "City of Brotherly Love has to offer" PS: This tour is good for all age groups. Tours will happen rain or shine but we will cut down on a few destinations.

Tour description

Great and exciting adventures to be discovered in Philadelphia, PA. With this trip, we'll check out Independence National Park, South Streets Magic Gardens, Learn facts about the Kimmel Center and the Avenue of Arts, Visit City Hall and a walkthrough of the Reading Terminal Market for food and drinks... We'll head back to the Liberty Bell where we will conclude the tour. It'll be about a 3-mile walk so make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes and plan devote at least 2.5 hours! Itinerary: - General meeting in front of the Liberty Bell at the Independence Hall (the giant bell with the crack on it) - 5-10 minutes of tour presentation and brief overview of the city and the place where we are. - Start of the tour through the Independence National Historical Park and walk through Washington Square. - 20 minutes of walking through Washington Park to 8th street and South St. In route we'll discuss the: -Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary Soldier -Penn Medicine -Magic Garden on South St Take a 10-30 minute break at the beautiful Magic Garden to take photos and to ask any questions. Then we'll head on Broad St through the Gayborhood. Which is a 15 minute walk. In route we'll see and discuss -Gayborhood -The Kimmel Center/ Avenue of Arts -Broad St / City Hall From City Hall we'll start heading back towards the Independence Hall but before then we will check out the Reading Terminal Market which is a 6 Minute walk from Broad St and City Hall. Here we'll take another Break to get food and drinks in the market. Will allot for 30mins for Food, Pictures and to buy souvenirs. We'll end the tour where we started back at Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell which is a 5 minute walk. That would conclude the trip and we'll take a huge group picture. *Masks Required throughout duration of trip.
