I'm Thomas! I've been giving tours in Washington for about three years. I'm history minded but enjoy the politics and culture of the city as well. I am a recent graduate of a Master's program and am waiting to start work in the area. I love touring and generally helping out tourists in my free time, which led me to GuruWalk.
I am an experienced tour guide and I know the area well. This tour will be a loop around the monuments and memorials which make the National Mall area of Washington so iconic!
We'll start at the Washington Monument and make a loop to include other attractions such as:
· The Lincoln Memorial
· Jefferson Memorial
· Vietnam Veterans Wall
· Korean War Memorial
· MLK Jr Memorial
I am happy to adjust the route to accommodate whatever you might want to see. I am history minded but also fascinated by the politics and culture of the area. Lastly, I've been in the area about five years so I am more than happy to make futher suggestions on where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
