Welcome to Southampton! The city of the Titanic but with many more super interesting things! I have been a Sotonian for a couple of years and I would love to share with you all those places that do not appear in the tourist guides. If you are looking for a different visit, know the attractions, the best bars and restaurants but above all, know the history of the city in a fun way, get in touch with me! I have a degree in Tourism, I am currently working in the sector here in the city and I can do the visit in both Spanish and English.
Would you like to visit one of the best preserved walled cities in England? Through this visit of approximately two hours, you will know the highlights of the last thousand years of the city. During the visit you will discover the most hidden secrets of the Tudor family, the medieval church, the port from which the "Mayflower" sailed with the founding fathers of the United States or the better known "Titanic". In addition, we will know how key Southampton was during World War II and more specifically the role it played for the liberation of occupied Europe on the day of the Normandy landing.
I will be waiting for you at the entrance of the BARGATE (entrance gate of the walls) next to one of the two lions that cross the entrance.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
