Arkeo Tour was born from an idea of a group of youngs from Andalusia and Madrid who loved its History, culture and heritage. Our team is made up of great professionals with extensive experience in managing of tourist groups and cultural visits in different parts of Spain. Most of us have trained on the street, collaborating in different archaeological sites, art galleries and museums. Touring the fortress is walking in the footsteps of the Knights Templar who built it, fascinated by the myths and legends that surround them. It is seeing Charlton Heston become the legendary hero that Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar was, it is wandering with Pope Luna while he is leaning out of the windows of the castle repeating the phrase "I am the true Pope" as the legend affirms, Or it is walking through Meereen herself with Tyrion, Missandei and Gray Worm in Game of Thrones.
Because there is a Peñíscola of history that takes us from the legendary Order of the Temple to the Pope who put all of Christianity in check.
But there is also a Peñíscola cinema where we can recognize scenes from films as fascinating as Calabuch (1956) or Paris Timbuktu ( 1999) by Luis Garcia Berlanga; El Cid (1961) by Anthony Mann, starring Charlton Heston, Sophia Loren; or series like El Chiringuito de Pepe, the Ministry of Time or the audiovisual phenomenon Game of Thrones .
