Leider konnten wir die Tour nicht machen, da wir unsere Pläne geändert haben, aber Ahmed hat uns viele Tipps über whats App gegeben, hat sehr schnell geantwortet und war sehr nett und hat sich nicht aufgezwungen.
Great tour and great guide. Ahmed is a knowledgeable guide. I Leary so much from him. You can ask him anything about ancient Egyptian civilization, kings, kartouches, the meaning of tombs’ paintings. For sure you can get thorough answers.
The tour around the main archaeological sites in Luxor was amazing. Ahmed is a very knowledgeable, but artistic person. It was very interesting to listen to him, he knew answer to every question. He was also a good time keeper, so we managed to go around the main places within a day, as was agreed. The vehicle was comfortable, driver is caring as well.
Ahmed is a great guide! He is very well documented, very caring with the visitors and has a lot of patience with the tourists to do pictures! It was an insightful exprience! We totally recommend Ahmed as a tour guide in Luxor!
Ahmed made our trip absolutely amazing. We are family with four children. As usual children get a lot of questions and he answered them with passion. Children felt very excited which makes our life as parents easier. No crazy offers visiting Egyptian spice, oil or cotton shops. Time we spend exploring history. We done east and west banks. Ahmed also organised sunset Felucca trips which was very relaxing for everyone. Last but not least when we asked to suggest local restaurant where he eats. He took us to really local, clean restaurant. Food was tasty and good quality and inexpensive (as it is concentrated to local customers). So definitely not his "cousin" restaurant where he get cut of each customer. Talking about prices he organised it well below what you can get online via tour agencies. Transportation was new passenger vans with air conditioning as travel agencies claiming. So in regards to quality it was not compromised. Furthermore he was always wearing face mask inside and outside. That for me, shows that he is respecting us and cares about current situation. I am giving Ahmed 5 starts as he definitely deserves it. Good luck Ahmed in these strange times !!!
