Hello, I am Pedro and I have a degree in tourism, I have been working professionally and uninterruptedly as an official tour guide in Murcia (Spain) for 15 years. My objective has been and is to foster and promote the rich cultural heritage of Murcia. For this I have collaborated with cultural institutions such as the Salzillo Museum, the Roman Theater Foundation and City Halls among others. I am passionate about history and art and for me it is a satisfaction and pride to be able to show the rich historical and cultural heritage of a city that overlooks the Mediterranean for more than 3000 years, where the different civilizations that have come to she have left monumental testimonies in each of its streets and squares
Cartagena, located in the Region of Murcia (Spain), is a city with more than 2,500 years of history that offers tourists, in each of its streets and squares, monumental testimonies of its splendid historical past, a legacy of the different civilizations that arrived there. through its port.
We will start the visit in the Héroes de Cavite square where the Consistorial Palace is located. On this visit we will get to know the great heritage of the Roman period of the city, we will look out to see the great Roman Theater and the Roman Forum Quarter , we will walk through the port area where we will see the wall of Carlos III and where the first submarine prototype is located made by Isaac Peral from Cartagena.
We will see the luxurious City Hall built at the beginning of the 20th century when this city was one of the richest and most important in Spain thanks to the mining activity, and we will walk through its historic center where you can see beautiful examples of modernist architecture from the beginning of the century .
I will be in Plaza Héroes de Cavite, with my official guide accreditation visible in front of the tourist office located in the Palacio Consistorial building,
