About the Tour

Cold war ; two words that give name to the greatest conflict that modern Europe has ever known and which involved half a century of confrontations between a world divided by communism and capitalism .

If there is any place where those words materialize, it is Berlin. A wall created " overnight " will mean a physical division between those blocks , but above all between thousands of families and loved ones for almost 30 years.

On this tour, we will explain in detail how a political conflict of global magnitude led to the division of a city that was practically destroyed after the Second World War.

Places such as the Palace of Tears , a place where many relatives had to say goodbye forever, ghost stations that were left halfway up the wall or the memorial of the wall with the old strip of death will help us understand the dynamics of the inhabitants much better. from two countries that no longer exist.

WHAT WILL WE VISIT?

  • Tränen Palast Museum (Palace of Tears)
  • Old ghost station Nordbahnhof
  • Bernauer Strasse wall memorial
  • Death strip
  • Museum of the documentation of the wall
  • Old watchtower
  • Chapel of Reconciliation
  • East Side Gallery (top)

… and much more!
