On this virtual walk through the old Jewish quarter of Amsterdam , I invite you to discover some of the most historic corners of the city. From the great synagogues that the first Jews to arrive in the city built in the 17th century to the Auschwitz Monument , located in the oldest park in the city, I take you on a journey back in time to the Amsterdam of the Second World War . Together, we will learn not only the history of the Dutch Jewish community, but also the Dutch resistance struggle against Nazi barbarism.
All this while we stroll through some of the most charming canals and streets of Amsterdam. Are you coming?
