A route through the numerous and different reinterpretations of the famous painting by Velázquez through this great open-air museum in the Canido neighborhood of Ferrol!
Tour : We will begin by commenting on some curiosities of the neighborhood in front of the natural history museum and we will comment on some paintings that have served to recover the neighborhood from urban ugliness. We will learn about the history of someone from Ferrol born here (such as Xosé Fontenla Leal) and we will briefly explain the portrait dedicated to the promoter of the movement, Eduardo Hermida. We will also take the opportunity to tell you the story of the gas plant installed in the Ferrol estuary by the Reganosa company or that of the two Marías in Santiago de Compostela, as it appears in a protest graffiti at the end of our route.
Wearing a mask is mandatory.
From November to March, the possibility of making a visit without a 4-HOUR PREVIOUS RESERVATION is not guaranteed.
If the weather conditions do not allow it, the visit will be suspended. You would be notified 30 minutes in advance.
In case of not being able to attend, please cancel the reservation as soon as possible.
Thanks for your understanding.
ATTENTION: On January 25, 26 and 27 there will be no visits for health reasons
