Bonjour! My name is Michel and I am a certified tour guide in Québec City since 1980!! So lets say ''I've been around''. In my previous lives I have been a horse and buggy driver (in the old city) a bar and restaurant owner and a hardware guy. I would love to show you around Québec City. Don't hesitate to call or write to me if you want a little more information before planning your next trip. Au plaisir!
Bonjour! Wellcome to Québec City. During my 2.5h walking tour (with a 10-minute break to refresh) I will assist you in discovering the history and all the secrets that Old Québec has to offer.
The tour that I am proposing is the best way for you to get to know your way around and understand the unique history and geography of my city.
This tour of the upper and lower town begins at the Joan of Arc Sunken Garden on the Plains of Abraham (Battle of 1759.) from there we slowly work our way towards the walled city through the Saint Louis Gate. We then walk through the narrow streets of the old city to enjoy the architecture and take in the different points of interest such as the Ursulin Convent, the Château Frontenac, and the Basilica. We wrap this up in the Place Royale (home of the first trading post dating from 1608) an area where you can enjoy the french ''feeling'' of Québec. Every tour I give is unique and I always adapt according to your expectations.
Hope to hear from you soon so we can begin to plan your adventure.
Salut!

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
