Ahoy there! My name is Václav, and if you can pronounce it, congratulations, you have just passed my friend test! For everyone else, you can call me V, that is until I teach you to read the Czech alphabet. I am a locally licensed tour guide with 6 years of experience, as well as being a native Prazan. Showing new people our beloved Prague is the one thing that gets us out of bed in the morning. Nico is my best friend, colleague, and famed opera singer of Bolivian and Czech descent, who will show you a brilliant city full of wonder, and complete with a few a song or two if you’re lucky! Prague is a magical city, full of history, and unbelievable stories that will make your jaw drop so far that you might need a traumatologist after visiting (some Czech humor). Book today for a chance to see beautiful Prague as we do
Explore Prague Castle and Castle District without missing out on one of its biggest highlights: The Change of Prague Castle Guards accompanied by the Music Band of the Castle Guards at 12 PM.
This Free Prague Castle tour concentrates fully on the area of Prague Castle and Castle District and is for everyone who wants to explore Prague Castle comfortably and learn about its history (and have fun of course)
We will start the tour from Malostranska metro station, which is located right below Prague Castle. We'll take a tram to our first stop, the statue of Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler, and will walk from there (downhill :), trust us, you don't want to walk the hill up)
Castle District is a small area adjacent to Prague Castle. The most beautiful architecture in this city you can find here. Since the most influential aristocratic families lived here. After about 15-20 mins. walk, we will reach Prague Castle Giant's Gate, where we will let you enjoy the main change on Prague Castle Guards at 12 PM. (there is a smaller change of guards every hour, this is the only ceremonial one which is accompanied by music).
After this we will enter Prague Castle and will explore its main sights
Meeting point: Open in Google Maps
How to find me: Meet us at Klarov, Malostranska metro exit (there is only one). Look for a red umbrella with big white 100 written on it.

A great tour if you just want an overview of the castle without buying tickets to go inside the buildings. Getting the tram to the western side and walking through is a great idea and also lets you see the changing of the guard. Jakub was a great guide- interesting and fun. We would recommend this tour
