Hello! :) My name is Rafa and I have been a guide for more than 7 years already in different cities (Prague, Barcelona, Berlin). I love my job and I am passionate about history, especially about this crazy city, Berlin. With me you can expect an entertaining and complete tour, but without hiding the horrors of the country's history. Let it not be me who says it -read the comments that have been put to me. ;) I will make the city mean much more than a succession of gray monuments and empty recommendations. Berlin is the capital of Urban Art, Underground Culture, Berghain, David Bowie, kinky bars and Techno. Why? Where does this fame come from? Why is Berlin the city of parties, art and bohemian life?
With me, you will visit two different neighborhoods that give Berlin the name of alternative capital. We will visit a couple of Okupaciones , the Urban Art network, the most famous murals in the city, the East Side Gallery and even have a beer during the tour (or two) to enjoy it the Berlin way. I will tell you why Berlin is the way it is and what historical circumstances pushed it to be that way.
This tour is photographic, visual, more casual than other darker ones of the history of Germany that I do. You will enjoy it!
We'll start at the Brandenburg Gate and end next to the East Side Gallery . We will need transport ticket!
