Meet with our Leonese guides the Basilica of San Isidoro , one of the most important monuments in the city of León . Linked from its origin to the Leonese monarchy , whose bodies rest in the Royal Pantheon where the best set of Romanesque paintings in Spain is preserved, known as the “ Romanesque Sistine Chapel” .
San Isidoro was also the seat of the first courts held in Europe , those of 1188 in which representatives of the three states met and that supposed the germ of the future parliamentarism .
