Welcome to Istanbul Dear Walkers!
Islam is the major practiced religion in Turkiye and in order to discover its characteristics we design this tour for walkers who come from non-islamic background.
As a route of the tour we have 2 Unesco World Heritage Destinations of Old City, Suleymaniye Mosque and Pantakrator Monastary. The tour route finishes at more local, residential area of practising muslims.
We will take off from the daily relations of muslims into the social practices in order to understand Islam as it is explained inner and external peace.
In this tour program we would like to cover
> Daily and weekly practises of muslims in the mosque context
> Social life in the local practising muslim areas
> Sufism, mystical understanding of Islam

*Please note that at the end of the tour, you are expected to tip the guide minimum 10 Pound, 10 Dollar, 10 Euro or 400 liras per person
**Please dress modestly as we have mosque visits during this tour. (We recommend bringing along scarves and shawls to be able to cover certain parts of the body)
