Hervás, a town nestled in a unique environment, surrounded by mountains belonging to the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos , a unique history, from its Templar origins to the Jewish settlement during the 14th and 15th centuries.
A Jewish Quarter that is within the Network of Jewish Quarters in Spain or the Caminos de Sefarad, a unique walk, without haste enjoying this Historical-Artistic Complex , but this free tour takes place at sunset so that the last rays of the sun guide us and make this experience even more special.
A route from the highest part of Hervás, the Church of Santa María de Aguas Vivas , an old Templar fortification, to enter a network of streets where it is easy to get lost, a place of coexistence between Christians and Jews , to go down to the Ambroz River and observe its medieval bridge presided over by the illustrious knight Alonso Sánchez Montero, we will end our walk in the Church of San Juan Bautista, a jewel of Extremaduran baroque.
