Bstadium has exclusively designed a surprising themed free tour of Barcelona for lovers of FC Barcelona and football in general. Walk through the most emblematic places and discover the most surprising stories linked to the main clubs in Barcelona.
From the hand of a specialized guide who will reveal fascinating anecdotes and stories related to football and sports, you will get to know Barcelona in a totally original way.
The route will begin at 11 am in Plaça Catalunya , a strategic point in the city and the border area between the Old Town and its expansion (Eixample). Once the history that permeates the square has been explained, we will enter the Ciutat Vella district through the Rambla where we will find the Canaletas Fountain, a place where the Blaugrana fans celebrate.
We will go down to fully enter the incredible Gothic Quarter , more specifically in the Roman Necropolis. Here we will learn about the Roman origin of the city and then arrive at the old Solé Gymnasium , where Joan Gamper and 11 other people founded the Barcelona Football Club.
Continuing through the Raval, we will enter the most visited market in the Catalan capital, the Boquería Market , another fascinating example of Modernism with more than 300 stalls offering all kinds of typical Barcelona gastronomy products. Leaving through the main entrance on La Rambla, we will find the lottery office founded by a former FC Barcelona player.
We will advance through La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter to admire buildings of great importance in the city such as the Teatro del Liceu, the Basilica of Santa María del Pi and even the Can Culleretes restaurant, which has a great football history.
To end this surprising tour, we will visit Plaza Sant Jaume , a political and popular square where the Town Hall and the Generalitat are located on both sides, from whose balcony the players and managers offered the cup to their followers.
At the end of the tour , all attendees will be offered by Bstadium an exclusive discount that they can redeem in any of the available experiences.
