Jamal is FANTASTIC. He grew up at the Medina and knows very well every street and corner of it. The tour included the visit to different places including the tanneries, local shops (like Abdullah’s mint tea) and history that makes the walking more interesting. Of course, he always mentioned that we are not forced to buy anything, so at least it was interesting to see the process of local shopping. He also took us to the Medrasa and Museum of Metiers, but be mindful to bring cash to pay the entrance to them (as well as Abdullah’s mint tea). In total, you should calculate 50 dirhams for the tea (10 dhs) and entrance to the Medrasa and Museum (20 dhs each). I think this tour is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the main highlights of the Old Medina because if you try to go by your own, it is like a labyrinth and difficult to orientate. So do it like a local with Jamal :)
