My name is Ángel and I am from San Pedro Alcántara, that other town within Marbella that very few people know in depth. I am an Official Tour Guide of Andalusia and heritage interpreter and I have spent years researching the history and heritage of my town, Malaga and Andalusia with the help of experts in each field. I am in love with my town, my land, my country, its history, its heritage, its traditions, its nature and its charms, and I am passionate about making them known to the whole world. I have spent two years divulging the secrets that nobody else tells about the towns of Malaga on social networks and it is something that deeply fills me. I am a different tour guide, because I am very rigorous with the contents to transmit true and quality knowledge, the result of years of research and study with experts in each subject, but at the same time I will make you have fun and have a great time. I will make you enjoy my land as much as I do and you will feel as if you were another 'malagueño'! Come with me and discover everything you didn't know about Malaga and that no other tour guide tells you!

However, did you know that within Marbella there is another town with an interesting history?
This is San Pedro Alcántara, my town. That town between Marbella and Estepona that everyone has passed through at some point but that few really know.
Many people think that San Pedro hasn´t anything to offer or anything interesting to do, but what if I told you that this is not true? Between Marbella and San Pedro we have some of the most unique archaeological sites in Andalusia.
Did you know that we preserve the remains of a church and a cemetery that are about 1,500 years old?

Did you know that San Pedro was born as an important agricultural colony dedicated to the cultivation of sugar cane?
It was founded in 1860 by the first Marquis of Duero, one of the most illustrious and important figures in the history of Spain.
In a short time, the Agricultural Colony of San Pedro Alcántara became one of the most advanced and important in Spain in the 19th century.
Did you know that there was an important sugar and alcohol factory here?
Did you know that former President Aznar, former Spanish soccer coach Vicente del Bosque have a home here, or that actor Pepón Nieto was born here?
Did you know that the largest whale ever found in Spain beached here?
Did you know that we have an open-air museum plenty of murals and sculptures by important Spanish artists?
You will be able to discover these secrets and many more on this unprecedented walking tour in one of the most unknown towns on the Costa del Sol with the help of an official tour guide that grew up in San Pedro and expert about the local history and heritage.
