Diocletian's Palace is one of the best-preserved monuments of Roman architecture in the world.

 The Emperor's Palace was built in the 4th century as a combination of a luxurious villa and a Roman military camp , divided into two parts with two main streets:
The southern part of the palace was intended for the emperor's private apartments and appropriate government and religious ceremonies.
The northern part of the Palace was intended for the imperial guard : soldiers, servants, storage, etc.
In the 7th century, refugees from the city of Salona inhabit abandoned parts of the palace and transform the palace into a city , adapting parts of the palace to their own needs.
The tour will take you through the 1,700-year-old Diocletian's Palace, where people have continued to live for the past 13 centuries.
