Hello!! My name is Miguel, I was born in Barcelona and I am 36 years old. Tourism, tourism marketing and travel agencies have always been my profession. I decided to undertake this adventure called Iceland, a country with many opportunities to offer. I love the Icelandic culture, I am always discovering, exploring... My passion is traveling and meeting people. Are you up for an adventure?
I hope that with this walk through the city you will learn more about Iceland and how we live here. Most of all I want you to have fun.
Also during the tour you will be able to try 2 typical Icelandic products... it's a surprise so I won't tell you what it is.
If you want a private tour, do not hesitate to contact me or CityWalk Reykjavik.
Welcome to the land of ice and fire.
We will have a pleasant walk through the city, a tour full of curiosities and with stops at important points.
You can take the photos you want, I'll wait for you! It doesn't matter if it rains or snows, it's always a good time to visit the city, I also like that everything is close and I always go with my tablet to show you curious photos!
We will meet in Harpa, I am wearing an Icelandic flag and the CityWalk Reykjavik jacket.
We will see how Harpa changes its colors according to the weather, we will see the port and we will also talk about a traveler in the sun (A great steel ship). From here we walk through the city, passing through Arnarholl and the Austurvóllur square. We will go to Tjornin lake to explain how it freezes in winter and see all the birds that live there. We take the path through the government building until we reach Laugavegur, the main street of Reykjavík where the main shops of the city are located and continue along Skólavörðustígur to the most famous church in Reykjavík, Hallgrímskirkja, our last stop!
Don't let the cold stop you!! Enjoy this beautiful city.
I will be in front of the Harpa, the main square with an Icelandic flag and a CityWalk Reykjavik jacket.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
