Hello!! My name is Miguel, I was born in Barcelona and I am 37 years old. Tourism, tourism marketing and travel agencies have always been my profession. I decided to undertake this adventure called Iceland, a country with many opportunities to offer. I love Icelandic culture, I am always discovering, exploring... My passion is to travel and meet people. Are you up for the adventure?
Welcome to the land of ice and fire.
Surely you have thought that the capital of Iceland is the least attractive part of the country.... My challenge, to show you that it is a hidden gem.
I hope that with this walk through the city you learn more about Iceland and how we live here. And at the end of the tour I will be there whatever you need to help you with your trip around the country.
Also during the tour you will be able to try 2 typical Icelandic products... it's a surprise so I won't tell you what it is.
We will meet at Harpa, I am carrying an Icelandic flag. The point is the main entrance to Harpa. Outside the building.
We will see how Harpa changes its colors depending on the weather while we walk near the port. From here we walk through the city, passing through Arnarholl and Austurvóllur Square, Lake Tjornin to explain how it freezes in winter and we take the path through the government building until we reach Laugavegur, the main street of Reykjavík where the main shops are located. the city and continue through Skólavörðustígur to the most famous church in Reykjavík, Hallgrímskirkja, our last stop!
You can follow me at migueltavera2636
I will be in front of Harpa, the main square with an Icelandic flag.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
