Greetings. I am José, I have lived in Sucre for most of my life. Although my training at university was not about Tourism or history; knowing and learning about new cultures and knowing their stories has always enchanted me. That is why I have been showing travelers the different and interesting aspects of my city for some time. Join me, meet and learn to love this city with me.

Tour description

A walk through the city of the 4 names, its past and present - free tour
Sucre has maintained a balance between its indigenous, colonial and mestizo roots, which makes it an extremely interesting city, with many colors and stories and also very interesting facts.
Sucre is a very safe city, a demographically young city with an affordable cost of living.

If I were you, I wouldn't miss it
On this tour we will relive the history and indigenous origins of the city. We will see fabrics made by hand by indigenous people, the same people descended from the locals who were there before the Spanish colony and still exist today.

Many curiosities, anecdotes and legends
Sucre housed an important part of the colonial society and we will know part of the influence that can still be seen these days. The city of Sucre is very proud of its cultural mix, this is something that we will appreciate during the tour.

Stops included in the tour:

  • Pedro Anzures Square and May 25 Square
  • Central Market
  • Bolivar Park
  • Liberty Square
  • The cat's street
  • ...there is much more on the way...

Our guide Jose for the Sucre tour didn't show up at the meeting point and did not answer the messages where I asked him where he is...very disappointing since we could have chosen another tour instead. Apparently it's not thr first time the guide didn't show up as I read in other comments.
