I went on this tour 2 years ago and it's still one of the best walking tours I've done (out of around 10)! Shiva was an amazing tour guide and made me see Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and the Balkans in a brand new way. She explained the history of the city well, and shared personal experiences that helped the tour feel alive. Going to the brass shop was also a huge highlight to this day! This tour is a must for anyone going to Mostar and will make you rethink what you know about the Balkans and international relations.

Great tour! Vanesa was our guide, and she speaks perfect, very understandable English and explains the history of Mostar clearly and with passion. What really stood out was her personal story as someone who lived through the war — it gave the whole visit a deeper meaning. She also shared great recommendations for the rest of our stay. I would definitely recommend this tour.

It was a hot evening but our guide kept us entertained with local history stories. We asked lots of questions and it was clear she had great depth of knowledge and high energy. I remember nearly everything she said as she expressed herself clearly and in an engaging way

We had such an informative tour, and our guide was so knowledgeable. This was a highlight of our trip to Bosnia - would highly recommend! We were in a small group (only 2 of us) and we ended up spending much longer than 1.5 hours because we were enjoying the tour so much :)

Our tour was incredibly informative, and our guide took so much time to answer all of our questions. Instead of just following a rigid, pre-set program, he tailored the experience perfectly to our personal interests. For example, he even took us to visit the Bridge Divers' House, which wasn’t even originally part of the itinerary! It is clear that he is highly knowledgeable, well-read, and has a deep understanding of politics. Since we were a small group, we were even able to sit down for a coffee together and chat about what life in Herzegovina was like during the Yugoslav era. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we hope to see you in Germany!

It was a small group so it felt like a real custom tour. Was open to lots of questioning and gave a lot of information about mostar. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed this free tour in Mostar (so much so, I’ve booked my next one in Sarajevo). The guide was very informative, had excellent knowledge, allowed us to move at our own pace while keeping everyone engaged. Brilliant experience!
