Hallo! My name is Dennis and I have been a tour guide in Norway for 7 years and guided most of Western Norway. I am really passionate about my country and can´t wait to share with you what Bergen has to offer. You will be able to explore Bergen as a true local. Come and join me!
We will start the tour in Bryggen, which is a medieval pier located in the historic port district and better known for its colourful wooden houses. It is also part of Unesco World Heritage in Bergen. I will be standing in front of the UNESCO monument and meet you.
After our first stop, I will show you the best spots in the city and also talk about the history and how the locals live.
Next, we will go through the fish market and if you are up for it, you can even try the local food.
The tour wouldn´t be complete without stopping at the "Postcard" pier to do a great photo of the centre of Bergen.
We will also go through the park at the peninsula, better known as Nordnes Park, and make our way to the centre where the theatre and local history is.
I will be in front of Bryggen. You can recognise me by my big beard!
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
