Have you heard of the Jerusalem Fever that has magnetized peoples from many nations throughout the ages to come to this city and express their religious devotion.
From Biblical times the city has been overrun. conquered, destroyed and rebuilt again and again.
King David, Sennachrib, Greeks, Yehuda haMacabee, Romans, Byzantines, Muslims, Crusaders, Saladin, Ottomans, British, Jordan and Israel.
Who built what, when and why?
For thousands of years, Jerusalem has been a city of interest for people from around the world. Jews, Christians, and Muslims pilgrimage to the city's many holy places to pray and people from all backgrounds come to learn the history of this beautiful city.
In this tour, we will get a glimpse of the four Quarters, Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Armenian.
We will see some of the holy places of each of the religions including:
- The Temple Mount
- The Western Wall
- The Chruch of the Holy Sepulchre
We will also walk through the the narrow maze-like streets of the open market Bazaar and see highlights of the Old City.
