Itinerary:
- In the First Place, we will depart from our first meeting point in the direction of the Ricardo Palma del Metropolitano station, to take the public bus that will take us to the Historic Center of Lima.
- It is important to bring coins with you to pay for the ticket from Miraflores to the center of Lima (the bus price is 2.50 soles per section) , here you are saving 15 dollars than the normal charge for a taxi, the trip lasts around 20 minutes to the station Beehive, is the nearest whereabouts that will take us to the Heart of Lima.
- Secondly, we will go to the Plaza San Martín exactly to the monument of the Liberator Don José de San Martín (second meeting point for those who are staying near the historic center) from the Plaza San Martín we will start our tour to walk through the historic center of Lima.
- Then we will walk through the pedestrian street known as Jirón de la Unión knowing historical and religious aspects of Viceroyalty Lima, making stops at the church of La Merced , O'Higgins house, headquarters of the Courret central Photography and more.
- Later we will visit the Plaza Mayor of Lima and its imposing buildings such as the Government Palace , the Cathedral of Lima , the Archbishop's Palace and the Municipal Palace , the guide will provide detailed information on each attraction that we will see in the Plaza de Armas, we will also know very important aspects of Pre-Columbian Lima.
