It was born at the request of you, my tourists!!!, many of you, delighted with my classic tour “Spectacular Historic Centre”, want to continue discovering the city with me, your “guide-architect” . Today I fulfill my promise and my “RED DISTRICT TOUR” is now available. "EROTIC AND HISTORICAL" , I decided on this place to present it as it deserves, with height, with class and not in a crude way as usual. A personalized tour, of high quality, as always and that complements my traditional tour .

The walk through the RED LIGHT LIGHT is a “Box of surprises”, in a unique architectural setting, without restrictions in terms of themes, WITH CLEAR AND RESPECTFUL LANGUAGE and without abandoning the CULTURAL profile of the tour, where I embrace the beautiful history of the neighborhood and the mundane life of the port of Amsterdam, where prostitution has been housed from the Middle Ages to the present day.
In the 20th century, heroin arrived, a hard drug that left a deep mark on Dutch society. Clergy, rich bourgeois, sailors, German soldiers in World War II, the painter Rembrandt, Mozart, drug addicts, millions of tourists and among them girls offering pleasure have walked through the Red Light District. Therefore we will also have history, art, science and the rich cultural life that emerged centuries ago in the Red Light District, with a vast support of photos and prints that will make our excursion more entertaining and also with a good dose of humor.

More than 20 interviews that I did with prostitutes allow me to tell them from first source what happens from the moment the sex worker opens the door of her “brothel-showcase” to the client, how attention is agreed upon with her and the surprises that sometimes occur. the clients !!! We will see how the way of offering sex has changed over the centuries in this same place. Added to this are coffeeshops, gay life, art, live sex shows, churches for the repentant, drugs, what is prohibited, what is permitted, cultural festivals and the decriminalization of marijuana, its characters and inhabitants, etc. It all takes place on a walk through iconic and historical places of the Red Light District in a unique architectural setting in the world, my old city of Amsterdam.

* Since 2019, ALL Amsterdam tour guides can only go around the brothel area through the peripheral streets authorized by the city council.

* * The Municipality of Amsterdam charges the tourist tax € 2 pp, which is paid before starting the tour and has no relation to the value of the event itself.

* Reservations: A max. of 4 people per reservation, fractional reservations of the same group are not accepted, reservations of 5 participants or more must pay the suggested contribution (€ 13 pp).

2 - WAITING MARGIN : it is 5-7 extra minutes for latecomers. The person who does not notify, or does not arrive after the extra minutes, may have their reservation replaced by other tourists.

2 - MINORS : The tour touches on topics of sex and drugs and by the way it is a sensitive topic for some people. I advise from 15 -16 years old, accompanied by their parents.

3 - ACCIDENTS: Each participant is responsible for their own physical integrity on the streets during the ride, as well as for any accident, fall or unforeseen event that affects their health. Therefore, it is suggested to have their health insurance policies up to date .

  SUGGESTIONS

1 - Do not hire or register for another activity at least one hour after the end of the tour to have time to arrive at the other activity in a relaxed manner and without schedules clashing.

2- Check the weather forecast, wear clothing suitable for cold or heat, sun protection, and an umbrella or raincoat, if the weather warrants it.
